  16. Its great that newtek is finally (the past year) developing
  17. toaster/flyer-style hardware for the pc. They had no choice. While the
  18. amiga does what it does very well; IMHO, and to my eternal disappointment,
  19. the amiga is a machine w/o a future. With all the ASICs and development
  20. tools for specialized chips, the statement '..Toaster hardware is
  21. dependent on Amiga custom chips too much to allow porting to the
  22. PC-platform.' is nil. With the backing of an intel or PPC (may the gods
  23. forgive me) platform I can now do dvp and play Doom simultaneously!
